The Sanderling is the Outer Banks of North Carolina’s only resort, spa and conference center. The Sanderling’s 95 guest rooms and villas, most offering private porches with water views, provide a casually elegant setting for meetings.

Conference facilities at The Sanderling can accommodate 100 people for a banquet or 150 people for a theater-style meeting. The Swan and Heron rooms can be combined or used separately, and the adjacent ocean-side deck can be covered with a tent for special outdoor events.

The resort’s newest restaurant, The Left Bank, offers a fine dining experience featuring contemporary American cuisine with a light French accent. A more casual restaurant and bar is housed in the restored 1899 Lifesaving Station.

The newly expanded 8,000-square-foot spa offers the latest in both wet and dry spa services, a yoga/pilates studio, a new hair salon, and two new couples’ suites with private lounges overlooking the water.

For recreation, the resort provides tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, and golf privileges at the nearby 18-hole championship Currituck Club.
