Athena Technologies Inc., a producer of navigation
systems headquartered in Warrenton, successfully flight-tested
its Micro INS, an integrated flight data package. The
size of a small cell phone, the system provides altitude,
heading, airspeed and other data points for cockpit displays
in aircraft. Athena plans to market a series of products
based on Micro INS that will be FAA certified for use
in autopilot and flight control systems for the general
