Diffusion Pharmaceuticals LLC, a clinical stage
drug development company, received approval from the
Food and Drug Administration to start human trials of
trans sodium crocetinate, which may hold promise in the
treatment of stroke, myocardial infarction and respiratory

School of Engineering and Applied Science will partner with Central
Virginia Community College and AREVA NP of Lynchburg
on a pilot program that will allow students to earn
a four-year engineering degree without leaving the
Lynchburg area, through a combination of distance learning
