Kent Guichard, named president and COO of American Woodmark Corp., Winchester. Guichard was  executive vice president and COO of the company. He joined the company in 1993 as vice president, finance and CFO, and was elected to the board in 1997. (News release)

Ted Leonsis, vice chairman of AOL, Dulles, announced his retirement effective Jan. 1. He will remain vice chairman of the company. Leonsis joined AOL in 1993 when the company acquired Redgate Communications Corp., which he founded. He played a major role in AOL’s establishment as a national Internet services provider. G. David Low, named senior vice president and program manager for Commercial Orbital Transportation Services, Orbital Sciences Corp., Dulles. Low was vice president and head of the Technical Services Division. (News release)
