AES Corp., an Arlington-based power generation
company, bought two wind farm projects consisting of
667 turbine units from Enron Wind Systems in Tehachapi, Calif. The wind farms produce 54 megawatts
of electricity and add to the company’s wind generation

of pet foods and snack products headquartered in
McLean, purchased Doane Pet
Care Enterprises Inc. of Nashville, Tenn. The deal, which plays into the
company’s strategy to strengthen its pet care business
in North America, does not include
