Clinch Mountain Finishing & Logistics of Lebanon plans
to invest $6 million in its Russell County
manufacturing facility to expand an existing building
by 48,000 square feet. The move will mean 220 new jobs
in the production of pre-finished hardwood flooring. Virginia competed with Tennessee for the investment. (PR)
DuPontInc., a Wilmington, Del.-based
science company, plans to invest $25.5 million in an
expansion of its Chesterfield County operations, creating
50 jobs. The plant produces DuPont Tyvek nonwovens,
a protective material made from polyethylene fibers. (PR)
Visador Holding
Corp. plans to invest $1 million to expand its
operations in the Town of St. Paul, creating 100 jobs. The facility will produce a new line
of vinyl window products, and serve as a warehouse
and distribution center. Virginia
