Aurora Flight Services Corp. of Manassas will
invest $5 million at its Manassas Regional Airport
facility and create 100 jobs. The work will support
development of an unmanned aerial vehicle designed
to fly in the atmosphere of Mars. If successful, it
would be the first aircraft to operate within the atmosphere

Merit Medical Systems Inc. of South Jordan,
Utah, will invest $5 million in a manufacturing facility
in Chesterfield County, creating 200 jobs. Fifteen
employees will also transfer from a pervious facility
in Henrico County. The new facility will assemble and
distribute procedure kits for the medical industry
worldwide. Virginia competed against Utah for the project. (Press

systems, opened its first
factory store at the company headquarters. The move
