BNA Inc., an employee-owned publishing company
located in Washington, D.C., announced plans to move
its headquarters to Crystal City by 2007. The $110
million investment will bring over 1,000 jobs to Virginia.
BNA publishes news and information on various regulatory
and public policy subjects through print and electronic

PepsiCo. Inc., a Purchase, N.Y. manufacturer
of consumer snacks and beverages, will build a manufacturing
and distribution center in Wythe County. The $140 million
investment will create 250 jobs in the production of
Gatorade Thirst Quencher, a popular sports drink, and
Propel Fitness Water. Virginia competed against Maryland

Reyes Holdings LLC of Rosemont, Ill., will
invest $7.5 million for a warehouse and distribution
facility in Prince George County. The project, which
will be operated by food service distributor Reinhart
FoodService LLC of La Crosse, Wis., a recent acquisition
of Reyes Holdings, is expected to employ 120 persons
