Alliance One Inc., a Danville-based tobacco
leaf merchant, sold its processing plant in St. Petersburg,
Russia to JT International Holding BV as part of strategic
realignment. The company will maintain a presence in
Russia through its subsidiary Leaf Trading Co. (PRNewswire)
MeriStar Hospitality Corp. of Arlington, a
hotel real estate investment trust, sold its Hilton
Monterey property in California to Ocean Park Hotels
of Valencia, Calif. for $20.5 million. MeriStar will
