a McLean-based provider of financial services,
plans to lay off 1,400 call center workers over

represent about 8 percent of the company’s worldwide
work force. Most of the work will be outsourced
to U.S. companies. (7/22/04, Richmond Times-Dispatch)

& Bee)
Langley Research Center
plans to cut supervisory positions by 20 percent
as part of an agency-wide reorganization of

or other options over time. (7/8/04, Richmond
Times-Dispatch)
