Online, a Dulles-based Internet services unit
of Time-Warner, opened two new offices in Norton
and Richmond. The total investment of $750,000
will create more than 100 jobs. (Press release)
Cost Plus, a discount retail
company headquartered in Oakland, Ca., announced
plans to double the size of its Isle of Wight
County distribution facility. The investment
of $24 million will add 500,000 square feet

Luna Innovations, a Blacksburg
technology company, will locate a nanomanufacturing
facility in Danville to produce nanomaterials
for research and development of military and
commercial applications. The $6.4 million investment

its Mecklenburg County operations through a
$175,000 investment that will create 25 jobs.
