technology company, announced plans to acquire
V-ONE, a security technology firm headquartered
in Germantown, Md. The purchase advances SteelCloud’s
plans to strengthen its position in the field

International Speedway Corp., a Dayton
Beach, Fla., motorsports promoter, acquired
full ownership in Martinsville Speedway, paying
$192 million to the family of track president
Clay Campbell. ISC now owns 12 tracks on the
NASCAR’s Nextel circuit, including ones
in Richmond; Daytona Beach, Fla.; and Talledega,
Ala. Campbell will remain president of the Martinsville

transaction services company based in Richmond,
acquired Channel Islands Escrow of Oxnard, Calif.,
and Universal Title Services in Illinois.

advertising agency, and The Packet Group,
an advertising firm based in Roanoke, announced
plans to merge in order to advance its presence
across Virginia. Susan Dubuque will be president
of the merged agency, which posts annual billings
