Cindy K. Andreotti, president
of MCI’s enterprise sales division at MCI, Ashburn,
announced her resignation for undisclosed reasons.
She had been with the company for 14 years.
No replacement was named and her responsibilities
will be assumed within the U.S. sales division.

Albert T. “Tappy” August
III, president and general manager, Richmond
Times-Dispatch, Richmond, announced plans to
retire at the end of 2004. He has managed operations

announced his retirement effective at the end
of the year after 30 years in the telecommunications

Kathryn B. McQuade, executive
vice president planning and chief information

and is the first female executive vice president
