| Minding Your Business Tired of hobnobbing with plebeians? Spirit Cruises, a Norfolk-based harbor cruise company, is going exclusive with its newest luxury yacht, the Elite I. "Its a country club on water," says Kendley Davenport, regional director for Spirit Cruises. The Elite, a 90-foot vessel, is available for private charter every day. Public cruises are held Saturday evenings from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., unless a private party has booked it in advance. Davenport envisions the Elite, christened in December, as an alternative for businesses looking for creative event and meeting space. With a full galley and custom-designed menus, the Elite can take you wherever you want to go, he says. It can maneuver even in smaller, remote marinas, a feat more difficult for larger vessels. Philip Morris has already chartered the Elite for a company shindig. Its a different way to show visiting clients around. At $200 to $1,200 as the basic charter fee for cruises lasting up to two and a half hours not including meals the cost is a little steep. But as passengers toast with complimentary champagne and wine, they can rest assured that the commoners are safely back at port. Leila Marija Ugincius
